Best Discord bots for game deals in 2026

By cat, who makes Xelent ·

The best Discord bot for game deals depends on the deal you want. To find the cheapest key for one PC game right now, use a price comparison bot like Xelent, which checks seven key stores against Steam for your region. To get sales posted in a channel, use a deal alert bot like Only. For free games, use FreeStuff or MercuryBot.

We make Xelent, so keep that in mind when you read our pick. Everything about the other bots comes from their own listings and websites, checked on October 13, 2026. Bots change, so check the listing before you add one.

What should a game deal bot do?

A deal only counts if you can buy it and play. Five things decide that:

  • Check key stores and Steam. Stores like Eneba, G2A and Kinguin are often much cheaper than Steam, but not always. Seeing Steam’s price next to the keys tells you whether a deal is real.
  • Find the exact game. Sequels, remakes and expansions share names, and this goes wrong more often than you’d think. More on that below.
  • Know your region. A cheap key from another region may not activate on your account.
  • Tell keys from accounts. Some listings sell a whole account with the game on it, not a key for yours.
  • Reach you. Alerts at a price you choose, and commands that work in your DMs, not only in servers that added the bot.

Why do deal bots show the wrong game?

Because stores don’t name games the way Steam does. On October 13, 2026 we searched for every paid game in the top 300 of Steam’s top sellers chart, 245 games, on one of the biggest key price comparison sites. Four returned nothing. Of the 241 that did, 30 were listed under a different name than Steam’s, about 1 in 8.

Games listed under a different name than on Steam
Steam calls itListed as
Diablo® IVDiablo 4
Warhammer 40,000: DarktideWarhammer 40k Darktide
Sid Meier’s Civilization VIICivilization 7
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six SiegeRainbow Six Siege
Mount & Blade II: BannerlordMount and Blade 2 Bannerlord
Sea of Thieves: 2026 EditionSea of Thieves
Examples from our search. Most of the 30 are Roman numerals turned into digits, or an edition or publisher name dropped.

Search results don’t always help either. On the same site, searching for Diablo IV put its Lord of Hatred expansion first, and searching for Total War: WARHAMMER II put WARHAMMER III first. A bot that grabs the top result, or guesses from part of the name, shows you the price of something else.

That’s why Xelent only shows prices when the listing is the exact game and edition you picked. When it can’t confirm that, it tells you it couldn’t find the game instead of showing you something close.

Test any deal bot in 30 seconds

Search for these three before you trust a bot with your money:

  • Diablo IV. You want the base game, not the Lord of Hatred expansion.
  • Total War: WARHAMMER II. You want II, not III.
  • Resident Evil 4. Steam sells the 2023 remake under that name. The 2005 original is still sold for a fraction of the price, so a very cheap result can be the wrong game.

How we checked: Steam’s top sellers chart on the German store, with free-to-play games and subscriptions left out. We searched for each game by its Steam name and read the top 10 results, sorted by popularity. A name counted as different when its words didn’t match Steam’s, ignoring capital letters, punctuation and the ™ and ® symbols.

Which Discord bot finds the cheapest game key?

Six bots look up a game’s price when you ask. They differ most in which stores they check and what they do after the search.

Xelent

Xelent answers one question: where is this PC game cheapest right now, for you? Type /deal and a game (names from Steam fill in as you type), pick EU or Global, and you get up to five offers from Eneba, G2A, Kinguin, K4G, Gamivo, Loaded and Instant Gaming, cheapest first. Steam’s price sits on top, so you see what you save.

It leaves out what you shouldn’t buy: keys that cost more than Steam, keys for the wrong region and unknown sellers. Accounts stay hidden unless you ask for them. A launcher option narrows results to Steam, Epic, GOG, EA app, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, Rockstar or Xbox. Too pricey? Tap Wishlist this game, set your price, and Xelent sends you a DM when it gets there.

What it doesn’t do: console games, free game alerts or price history. The wishlist holds 3 games and checks once a day, not every minute.

Free. My Apps lets you use it in your DMs and in servers that allow external apps.

Bestgameprice

/price compares prices for a game and understands short names like “rdr2”. /search can list a whole series, /track adds a game to a wishlist that tells you about price drops, and /deals lists current deals. Its listing says it only compares official stores and authorized resellers, but it doesn’t name them or mention regions.

PriceWatch

PriceWatch uses a dash prefix instead of slash commands. -search finds the cheapest key across Steam, G2A, K4G, Kinguin, Fanatical, Driffle and Eneba, and -alert manages a watchlist. Its listing doesn’t say when alerts fire or whether it handles regions.

Bundle Bot

Bundle Bot is built around bundles. /bundle posts new Humble Bundle, Fanatical and Green Man Gaming bundles to a channel. /price shows a game’s lowest current price and its historical low across official stores and keyshops, and /pricealert sends you a DM when a game hits its all-time low, rather than a price you pick. It launched in July 2026.

KrakenDeals

/price finds the best price for a game, with autocomplete and an optional currency. KrakenDeals covers Steam, Fanatical, CDKeys (now Loaded), Green Man Gaming and Humble Bundle, and server admins can turn keyshop results off. No alerts are listed.

GameGlance

More game lookup than deal bot. /search shows player counts, single or multiplayer, a description and cover art, plus Steam’s price and the best deal it finds through IsThereAnyDeal, gg.deals and CheapShark.

Which Discord bot posts game sales in a channel?

Only

Only is the biggest deal alert bot we found, in 5,250 servers according to its Top.gg page. Admins pick the stores and announcement channels in a web dashboard, and the bot posts when games go on sale. /search shows a game’s price history and current deals, and you can keep a list of favorites. It names Steam, Epic and GOG among “all major gaming stores”. It calls itself a premium bot but doesn’t say what, if anything, costs money.

Bundle Bot and LootDrop post to channels too, but for bundles and free games.

Which Discord bot posts free games?

Free game bots watch stores for giveaways and post them in a channel you pick. They’re built for freebies, not for comparing prices.

FreeStuff keeps its core features free and charges for extras. MercuryBot is open source, so you can also run your own copy. And despite its name, Game Deals only posts free games.

How do I get a Discord DM when a game goes on sale?

Use a bot with price alerts. With Xelent it takes about a minute:

  1. Add Xelent to your server, or to My Apps if you can’t add bots there.
  2. Type /deal and the game, then pick EU or Global.
  3. Tap Wishlist this game under the result.
  4. Type the most you’d pay, like 8.50, and submit.
  5. Xelent checks once a day. When the game is at or below your price, you get a DM with a link to the store. If your DMs are closed, it tags you in the channel where you added the game.

You can skip the search with /wishlist game:GTA V price:5. Up to 3 games at a time.

Rather use a website? gg.deals has price alerts too. You sign in, set a target price, and get told on the site, by email or by browser push. Keyshops are included.

Are keys from G2A, Eneba and Kinguin safe?

Usually, if you check a few things first. G2A, Eneba, Kinguin, K4G and Gamivo are marketplaces: independent sellers list the keys and the store takes a cut. Loaded and Instant Gaming sell keys themselves. Most marketplace keys work fine, but a key that was obtained the wrong way can be revoked later, and the developer gets nothing from the resale.

  • Check the region and the platform before you pay.
  • Buy from sellers with a long history and a high rating.
  • Look at the total at checkout. Payment and service fees can add a few euros.
  • An “account” listing is not a key for your own account.

Should I buy EU or Global keys?

EU keys activate in Europe and Global keys activate anywhere. Some keys are locked to places like Latin America or India and won’t activate outside them. If you live in the EU, EU and Global keys both work for you. Anywhere else, buy Global. In Xelent, EU shows euro prices and keys that work in Europe, and Global shows dollar prices and keys that work worldwide.

More questions

Are game deal Discord bots free?

Mostly. Xelent is free. Bundle Bot, LootDrop and Game Deals say they have no paid tier. FreeStuff keeps its core features free and sells extras, and MercuryBot is open source.

Can I use a deal bot in my DMs?

Only if it supports Discord’s user apps. Add Xelent to My Apps and /deal works in your DMs and in servers that allow external apps, even if the server never added it.

How often do deal bots check prices?

It varies. Xelent looks prices up live when you search and checks wishlists once a day. Game Deals checks for free games every 15 minutes. gg.deals says its keyshop email alerts can take 2 to 3 hours, because a price has to hold steady first.

Does Xelent work for console games?

No. Xelent covers PC games only, with keys for Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, EA app, Ubisoft Connect, Battle.net, Rockstar and the Xbox / Microsoft Store.

Why are game keys cheaper than Steam?

Key stores buy keys in bulk, sellers resell keys from bundles and promotions, and prices differ by region. That’s why the same game can cost half as much, and why the key’s region and the seller’s rating matter.
